The Ole' Country/Cowboy Church
The beginnings of a brand new country/western style church.
Country and Cowboy Churches?.......
Is there really a difference?.......
Here's the Skuttlebutt.......
Country and Cowboy churches nationwide are among the fastest growing churches. They will take you a step back in time to when life was just a little less hectic and church was a delightful family experience.
Where country folks and country folks at heart, enjoy celebrating church with an easy going, down home, laid back atmosphere and a touch of real country charm.
Country and Cowboy churches don't take a 'shine' to formality, or fancy frills n' traditions ---God ain't impressed by those kinds of things---Jesus always had a way of keepin' things pretty simple.
The church is an independant non-denominational church that is Fundamental---Bible Believing---Christ Centered---Full-Gospel---and committed to the absolute and unchanging truth of the Word of God.
Pastor Ken Burisek says, "We're a new church with a whole heap of growing to do and our desire is for everyone who comes through the doors of our church to know they're special, and are welcome to become a very real part of the family of God. Most folks don't care how much you know---until they know how much you care!"
The Ole' Country/Cowboy Church also has a church puppet team (TIC TOCC PUPPET TEAM) that performs for outreaches and travels to other churches and Christian events as well. Our church also enjoys sponsoring country and gospel singing groups as well as special speakers and christian entertainers as gifts to the community for folks to enjoy.
We welcome our brothers and sisters in Christ from other churches to come and enjoy our special events and we encourage our members to enjoy events other area churches may sponsor.
The Ole Country/Cowboy Church is a place for all those who love the Lord Jesus Christ and our Western heritage of freedom to worship, to learn the Word of God, and to grow spiritually together. A church that stands on the absolute, infallable and unchanging truth of the Word of God.
The horse, rope, hat and spurs are optional. We come in all shapes, sizes, ages and every walk of life. Our goal is for everyone to know that accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior ain't about religion, it's a way of life.
Country/Cowboy churches have an easy-going, laid-back, down-home style that makes folks feel welcome. Where the church is like a family and they really care about one another. Where you're just as likely to hear a Yih Hah! as an Amen! Where country gospel music rings through the rafters.
Where Sunday School is Fun-day School and the Bible comes to life with puppets, plays and skits. We've recently moved into and are in the process of remodeling a building to serve as our church... doubling our former space.
Some folks are of the notion that a church building...or the denominational label they might wear is the church...but the fact is...the Bible says our bodies are His temple...not the building we might meet in. Jesus Himself held His meetings on hillsides & under trees, not in fancy man-made cathedrals!
Whether you're looking to become a part of an exciting new church or just come for a visit, everyone is welcome at the Ole' Country/Cowboy Church. Putting people in touch with the God of Hope. Expect the unexpected, the difference just may surprise you!

TENANTS OF FAITH
I. THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD, verbally inspired in the original writings. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21)
II. THE HOLY TRINITY composed of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, with all power vested in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Co-existant, Eternal, Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent. (Deut. 6:4,5; Man. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Luke 1:35; John 1:14)
Ill. THE SALVATION OF MAN. Through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ, man is saved by the washing of regeneration, whereupon he is born again, and being justified by grace, through faith, he becomes an heir of God. (John 3:3,5,7; Titus 2:11; 3:5,7 etc.) The inward evidence is a witness of the Spirit (Rom. 8:16). The outward evidence is a life of righteousness.
IV. ENTIRE SANCTIFICATION is the will of God for all believers, and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God's Word.
V. HEALING IN THE ATONEMENT. "Himself took our infinities and bore our sicknesses," and "with His stripes we are heated." (Isaiah 53:5) It is our privilege to lay hands on the sick and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord and "the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up."
VI. The baptism in and the manifestations of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:49, John 7:38-39, Acts 1:5, 8, Acts 2:1-21, I Corinthians 12:1-14, 40). The Baptism with the Holy Ghost is an experience subsequent to conversion, bringing Spiritual power for Christian service. (Acts 2:4)
VII. SPIRITUAL GIFTS. If we abide in Him, it is possible to have the "signs following", and the spiritual gifts spoken of in Corinthians, operating in the Church
VIII. ORDINANCES. The Lord's supper should be observed (Luke 22:19,20; 1 Cor. 11:23-26). Water Baptism by immersion, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, according to His command, "In the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." (Matt. 28:19; 3:1 ' 5-17; Acts 2:38; Rom. 6:3-4) There is a great blessing to be derived from, and a wonderful lesson of love and humility taught by foot-washing, as practiced by our Lord and His disciples (John 13:4-17). "Therefore if we know these things, happy are ye if ye do them', but the practice of foot-washing may be optional with each congregation.
IX. Living a life of peace, love, joy, and holiness through the help of the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 12:14, I Corinthians 6:9-10, Collosians 3:5-6, Galatians 5:22-23).
X. Spreading the Gospel of Christ to all individuals and nations as commanded by our Lord (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-20, John 20:21-23).
XI. The soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ to rapture us out of this world, forever to be with Him as promised (I Corinthians 15:51-58, I Thessalonians 1:10, 4:13-18, 5:8-11, II Thesalonians 2:6-7, Luke 21:36).
XII. THE RESURRECTION of the crucified body of our Lord. The resurrection of the just before the thousand years, and the unjust after the thousand years. (Acts 2:22-24; Rom. 8:34; Dan. 12:2,3; Rev. 20:4,5)
XIII. The second return of Jesus Christ with HIS saints at the end of the tribulation to judge the nations and set up HIS millenial reign for a thousand years (Psalms 2:1-12, Revelation 19:11-20:10, Jude 14-15).
XIIII. HEAVEN AND HELL The everlasting blessedness and award of the righteous, and the everlasting punishment of the wicked. (Matt.26:46; Rev. 2:8; Luke 16:19-25; etc.)

History
The Tic Tocc Puppet Team has it's roots from the Burisek Family's Kritter Kountry Ministries. Dad Ken Burisek...wife Jennifer...daughter Holly...and son Keith travelled throughout Wisconsin and into Illinois...Michigan...and Minnesota...with their family puppet ministry. Ken and his family began the ministry in 2000 with Ken as a traveling speaker/evangelist sharing his incredible miracle testimony of how a warning from God saved his life...but as his family travelled with him they had a desire to share in the ministry as well and the Kritter Kountry Puppet Ministry was " born" and the puppets soon became a popular event. Shortly after this, Ken had a calling to the pastorate and the Buriseks and a number of familes organized and founded The Ole' Country Church in 2004...and then helped the church develop it's own puppet team. T.I.C. (Together In Christ) T.O.C.C. (The Ole' Country Church)...thus...Tic Tocc Puppet Team. Though the puppet ministry has taken the forefront at events...Pastor Ken is often asked to share his story as well.
The Present
The Tic Tocc Puppet Team is made up of folks of all ages...from pre-teens to senior adults. Our team is open to our church as well as to believers from outside our own church family. Our goal is to touch hearts and lives for Christ and share the joy of the Lord. Our team not only does puppet stories and musicals...but live skits...Christian illusion..and object lessons as well. We gear our material for your event. We have no set fees to come to your church or event ...we trust the kindness of hearts and the Lord to provide. We only ask that in the event we need to travel longer distances...that fuel costs are taken into consideration.

“Walking God’s Way” Christian Singles Fellowship
The Ole’ Country Cowboy Church is beginning a brand new Christian Singles Fellowship in the Medford and surrounding area for Christians who walk the walk…not just talk the talk. As pastor this has been on my heart for a number of years and now our church membership has voted to begin putting it into action. The main purpose of WGW is to give Christian Singles in our community an opportunity to meet up and connect with other Christian Singles in a Godly, chaperoned and supervised environment. A ministry that begins when most church youth activities come to an end....this will give our Christian young people as well as singles of all ages and circumstances…a good opportunity to meet others with similar Godly and moral values. Anyone 16 years and older may join, but those under 18 will need a parental consent signature.
WGW is a non-denominational organization and is not just about meeting others for possible relationships but is also about support, friendship, companionship, and fun for all single people of all ages in similar situations in life. Whether you were never married or are single through divorce or death of a spouse....we welcome you !!!
We will be offering social activities, providing a variety of fun opportunities for singles to engage in, while keeping our focus on a friendly, honorable and respectable atmosphere apart from the "bar scene" and other meeting options. Activities will include regular prayer and bible study relating to singles, relationships, marriage, and family. Our goal is to bring in pastors and teachers from various local Churches to teach Christian values for relationships. A committee will be selected from among our church folks and qualified members to help with the planning of group events, activities, trips, and outings. Applicants who would like to participate will be asked to sign a commitment form agreeing to honor biblical moral values such as traditional biblical one man one woman marriage, true love waits, and respect for all human life, etc. They must also consent to a background check.
